MY FIRST/BIRTHDAY PHOTOSHOOT

Hey guys! It’s been a long while, and I’m really sorry for just going AWOL. If you use to visit the blog before, you’ll notice the blog is different, we made a few changes and we are back and better😊😊😊. If this is your first them here, YOU’RE MOST DEFINITELY WELCOME. please remember to LIKE, SHARE, and SUBSCRIBE.

I’ve never had a photoshoot so I planned to have one for my birthday, which was last month, August 18 to be precise. I told my bestfriend about it, and he said he was going to help me out.

He said he has a friend who would snap me for free, I said I was going to do my makeup the simple way I can (at least I can draw my brows now), so the one thing I would be spending on was my clothes. We agreed to shoot at the Redemption Camp ground, since its annual convention was a week before my birthday, and there are really beautiful spots there. I was really excited because everything had fallen in place, and I couldn’t wait for the photoshoot

“I’m sorry, you can’t have the whole week off. This is an official setting, no one can approve that”, those were the words my boss at my IT office told me when I said I was going to be absent for the convention week. I was devastated because I really wanted to go for the convention, and my PHOTOSHOOT was getting ruined.

I was lamenting to one of my friends turned sister, she said I can still have it here in Lagos. I told her the truth, I don’t have enough money to pay photographers, she asked how much I had and she promised to hook me up with someone. She knows a lot of photographers, because she is a model, a very fine one at that. I wasn’t too excited this time, because anything can happen.

I talked with the photographer, and his price was relatively cheap, he sounded really nice. We agreed to use UNILAG for the photoshoot at a convenient time for us.

I had begged my friend to do my makeup since she was way better than I am. On the day of the photoshoot, she actually hired a make-up artist for me, those make-up artists with big boxes, so it was really obvious it was going to be expensive. She paid for me, I was so surprised and happy. I wasn’t expecting to be so beautiful and sophisticated, if you’re reading this, I LOVE YOU LARA

I really enjoyed the photoshoot, and I was even posing like an experienced model. It was fun and the pictures came out nice. These are pictures from the photoshoot:

I might actually consider being a model, maybe in my next lifeπŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€. Have a wonderful week, I love y’all

PS: DON’T BE TOO STRESSED ABOUT THINGS YOU’VE PUT YOUR BEST INTO, THINGS WILL FALL INTO PLACE IN DUE TIME
